• Biography

  The day she was born her mother died, she died bringing such powerful magic into this world and her last breathe was to love her daughter. The child was named after her mother and both of her grandmothers Sirena Alezar Malina Kanan or Sam Kanan for short. After the death of her mother she grew up knowing she was loved by her father and two loving grandmothers, she soon learnt the craft from them and all sorts of handy little tricks from her father.
  
  Time went on and she grew up knowing of the peace and happiness childhood came with making her soon believe that life would always be like this until one day after she reached the age of love and he turned up, Robert Richard Hawken, Sam fell in love straight away when she saw him ride over on his noble white horse, a knight in shining armour just like in the stories she heard and she did indeed felt like she was struck by lightning and when Robert saw her she knew that was all that was needed. That night they danced in passion, their hands never leaving each other’s bodies as heat could be seen between them before they vanished for the night.
  
  Many days past and their love was fiery and passionate before Robert got onto his white horse and said goodbye and was never seen again. Sam did not want to give up hope that he would return thinking their love was true and strong. Days past turning into months and soon she knew he was never coming back so a silence fell over her heart.
  
  A few weeks after her heart was broken Sam started to dance on the street for coins or read fortunes to strangers, soon she learned to just lie to them because they don’t want to know the truth of their future. Before long the fortunes she first told came true and she was accused of witchcraft. Both of her grandmothers and her father was captured and burnt at the stake to keep her secret safe. Sam swore to never use her magic again
  
  Her uncle took her in when he heard the news of his brother and knew that his Daughter Lulu and Sam would get along well, they were like sisters doing everything together. One hot summer’s day they were out swimming in a lake when some bandits kidnapped them and sold them to slavery to dance for rich men until they die. One night Sam woke to Lulu screaming and when she sat up she saw she was getting raped by the rich man; furious Sam screamed and held her hand out sending a fire ball straight at the man breaking her oath and breaking free as well. Sam soon started to grab everything she could hold onto, money, food, clothes, before her and her cousin were on the run heading home. They ran for many days before some men came by and took them again but they turned out to be friends who were looking for them and they were home again.
  
  Soon Sam found out that her cousin Lulu was pregnant and helped her through the birthing that took many long hours and when it was all over Sam’s cousin named her son Samuel after her cousin Sam. Joy came back into her life again as she started to study the craft again.
